Angela Webb

Registered Psychologist + EMDR Accredited Consultant (PSY0001711256)

Angela identifies as a “country kid”, growing up in Norseman and Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, where her Dad worked in mining. She started her psychology career in the rural mining town of Cobar NSW, studying while working with the Department of Ageing Disability and Home Care (ADHC) as a service coordinator of incredible volunteers for the local Meals on Wheels and Community Transport programs. She was fortunate enough to work with ADHC Disability Services as a case manager where she coordinated a team of allied health professionals including psychologists, behavioural support workers, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physiotherapists to work with outback clients and their carers.

Angela unashamedly promotes the need for top notch mental health services in rural and remote locations across NSW and beyond. As the Director and Principal Psychologist at AWI Consulting, she works across all programs including EAPs (Employee Assistance Programs), NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), Workcover, CTP and private contracts. Angela is a Psychology Board of Australia Supervisor and loves training team members to offer country clients services that are usually only available in the big smoke.

Angela admits that she is an EMDR “nerd” and passionately promotes this mode of therapy (where appropriate) with clients who have experienced complex trauma.

Angela has an insatiable appetite for finding innovative and effective ways to support the clinicians working with AWI Consulting and in the community. She is passionate about providing an amazing client experience and great team environment.

In her spare time, Ange enjoys painting abstract art, tending to her orchard, fishing, stamp collecting, and sharing time with family and friends.

Ally Corkhill

Clinical Lead
Registered Nurse (Mental Health) + EMDR Accredited Practitioner (NWM0001614177)

“Even if people have experienced ‘worse’. Even if someone else who went through the same experience doesn’t feel debilitated by it. Even if it ‘could have been avoided’. Even if it happened a long time ago. Even if no one knows. Your trauma is real and valid and you deserve a space to talk about it.” ~ Danielle Koepke

Ally is a registered Nurse (Mental Health) and EMDR Clinician. Her journey has bought her to a place where she has found an amazing passion for supporting people as they heal from trauma using EMDR as a trauma-focused therapy.

Ally loves that EMDR therapy promotes a client-centred approach, as you get to choose what works for you and to speed things up or slow things down so that the therapy is YOUR therapy. Ally enjoys sharing in the incredible changes and gains that can be experienced when trauma events and memories from the past are processed.

Ally feels incredibly grateful to work alongside and follow the transformation of the courageous and dedicated clients she works with as they undertake this life changing work. Assisting her clients on a journey of healing and recovery, focusing on the ability to live a wholesome life without dragging past emotional pain around is one of Ally’s passions.

Having been born and bred in Boorowa on a farm and also spending time away for school and university, Ally finds that she can relate to people from all different walks of life. Ally finds it’s just as easy to have a yarn in the local pub as she does in our office.

When Ally is not working with clients, she can be found hanging out with her little boys on the family farm. She is also known for enjoying a beer and keeping a close eye on a beautiful sunset.
